White and hagg bridge caravan park

Out and About

Weardale has many areas, facilities and activities, in which to explore.

We are easily accessible to a number of historic market towns: Hexham, Corbridge and Barnard Castle, as well as the local villages of Eastgate and Stanhope.

Our village of Eastgate offers the Cross Keys, a lovely family pub with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Stanhope hosts a variety of essential shops and amenities: bakers, butchers, chemist, doctors, hardware store, banks post office to name but a few. The Dales Centre is where you will find the tourist information, a tearoom, local art and craft shops and a Farmers market that is held on the 4th Sat of every month. An open air swimming pool is located near the ford at Stanhope and is open during summer months (weather dependant).

This tranquil area has numerous country walks, and cycle routes, with magnificent scenery and wildlife, as well as an abundance of rivers and reservoirs.
